Subject profiles: identity, addresses, triage and notes

5 MIN READ·UPDATED NOV 2026·PEOPLE AND SUBJECTS

A subject is a person on a case. The profile gathers every saved record into identity, address history, court records and a triage queue, and keeps notes and a timeline.

The profile

The header shows the name, role, whether identity is confirmed, location, record count and when it was last refreshed. The tabs: Profile, Records, Court, Timeline, Notes.

Refresh records

Refresh records runs the subject's search again. Anything new arrives in the triage queue marked Found; nothing is added to the profile until someone marks it relevant.

Triage

Each record has three buttons: Relevant (feeds the profile, graph and reports), Not relevant, Wrong person. Dismissed records stay visible but fade, so you can see what was ruled out.

Add a record by hand

  1. Press Add record by hand.
  2. Pick the type (court, property, business, address, phone and so on) and fill in what you found.
  3. Say where it came from. The source stays with the record forever.

Notes and timeline

Notes are stamped with author and time. The timeline lays out dated records and notes in order; dates from records are pulled automatically.

Monitor and report

Monitor re-runs the subject's search on a schedule and shows only new results. Report drafts an impeachment sheet or a subject profile from the records you kept.
