The link graph: who connects to whom

3 MIN READ·UPDATED NOV 2026·PEOPLE AND SUBJECTS

The graph shows how the people on a case connect through shared phones, addresses, businesses and court cases, drawn from saved records and from the evidence itself.

Reading it

Subjects are the filled circles; connectors (a phone, an address, a business, a case) are rings colored by kind. Solid blue lines are links seen by more than one source or by a phone; dashed grey lines were seen once. The most connected subject sits in the middle.

Paths

The right panel lists every pair of subjects that share something, with the sources behind the link. Click a path to highlight it, or click any node to see its links and open the profile.

Hops, relevance, export

  1. 1 hop shows only what two or more subjects share; 2 hops shows every link.
  2. Relevant only drops records you have not marked relevant yet.
  3. Export downloads the drawing as an SVG for a memo or a slide.

When a phone number or address is written in the same sentence as a subject's name inside a document, the graph draws that link too and labels it named together with the snippet.
