Firm settings: people, roles, sign-in rules and licensed data
Admins manage the firm here: who has an account, what each person may do, how long closed cases are kept, whether two-step sign-in is required, and whether a licensed data provider is connected.
Roles
Admin: sees every case, assigns people, manages users and settings; there can be as many admins as you like. Attorney: works cases, sees privileged files, decides privilege. Investigator: works cases, never sees privileged files. Viewer: read-only on the cases they are added to.

Add a person
- Press Add person, enter a username, name, role, title and licence number.
- A temporary password is shown once; hand it over in person or by a secure channel.
- They change it from their Account page after signing in.
Sign-in rules and retention
Set the idle timeout and whether two-step sign-in is required for everyone (turn it on for your own account first). Set how many days closed cases are kept before an admin may delete them.
Licensed people data
Free public records never reach people without filings. A licensed provider (credit-header and utility data, released only for permissible purposes) reaches almost every adult with birth year, address history, phones and relatives. Enter the firm's own provider credentials here; they are stored sealed, searches use them only for permissible purposes, and every lookup is audited.
