Evidentor records why every search ran and where every record came from. It is a tool for licensed professionals and anyone with a lawful need; it is not a consumer reporting agency.

Litigation, investigation, insurance claim, due diligence or research is recorded with each search and shown in the audit log. Licensed data runs only for the first four.

Provenance on every record

Each record keeps its source, link, retrieval time and SHA-256 hash. Reports cite them; exports carry them.

Not a consumer report

Do not use Evidentor to decide credit, employment, housing or insurance eligibility. Federal donor data may not be used for commercial purposes and is marked internal only.
