Monitoring: watch a subject for new records

A monitor re-runs a subject's search on a schedule and shows only what is new. Nothing is added to the profile until someone reviews it.

Start a monitor

  1. Open the subject and press Monitor, or go to Monitoring and press New monitor.
  2. Pick how often: every six hours, daily or weekly.
  3. New results arrive as a count in the Monitoring list and a red dot on the bell.

Review

Press the count to see the new items with their sources. Keep one by opening the subject and refreshing records, or saving it from the search. Pause, resume, check now or delete a monitor from its row. Closing a case pauses its monitors.
